A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

Job Description

Lone Star Property Services is looking for a Landscape Team Lead to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage a team of up to 3 people while performing services Perform landscape maintenance duties, such as spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding, drainage installs Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns Prepare daily team performance reports Assist with employee recruiting and selection
Required Experience:
One year experience in this or a related field is required Previous leadership experience Ability to work in, and appreciate, very hot days, very cold days, rainy days, and beautiful days. Valid license and clean driving history. Be able to lift 40+ lbs consistently, rotate, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time. Have good organizational and time management skills. Must be 18 years or older Must pass a drug test and background check Our typical work schedule is M-F 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with occasional overtime We look forward to hearing from you.
