We are seeking a skilled and experienced Groundskeeping / Landscaping Foreman to oversee commercial projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial services and be adept at managing teams, budgets, and timelines. This role requires a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills.
What You'll Do:
As a Groundskeeping / Landscaping Foreman at PM Pros, you'll be at the heart of our operations, tackling exciting projects and working alongside a friendly, motivated crew.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supervise and lead a crew of landscaping and groundskeeping employees. Plan, organize, and assign daily work tasks. Ensure all work is completed according to company quality standards and customer expectations. Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members on proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures. Operate and oversee the safe use of landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, chainsaws, skid steers, and other power equipment. Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, trimming, mulching, planting, irrigation repairs, fertilization, weed control, and seasonal cleanup. Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to meet deadlines. Inspect completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, equipment inspections, and completed work. Coordinate equipment maintenance and report repair needs. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and environmental standards. Communicate effectively with customers, property managers, and company leadership regarding project status and concerns. Assist with snow and ice removal (if applicable).
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience. Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of plant identification, turf management, irrigation systems, and landscape maintenance practices. Ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and work on uneven terrain. Stand and walk for extended periods. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind. Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment and tools.

Complete projects on schedule and within budget. Maintain excellent customer satisfaction. Promote a safe, productive work environment. Minimize equipment downtime through proper maintenance. Develop crew members through coaching and training. Maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance, and accountability.
Work Schedule:
Full-time position.
Typical schedule:
