SML Landscape Designs is seeking a dependable and experienced Mowing/Landscape Foreman to lead our mowing crew and ensure properties are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a mowing crew, performing seasonal leaf removal, and operating commercial lawn equipment. Additional landscaping experience is a plus. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a mowing crew on daily routes Coordinate daily work assignments and keep the crew on schedule Perform and oversee mowing, string trimming, edging, and blowing Lead and assist with seasonal leaf removal and cleanup Ensure properties are completed efficiently and meet company quality standards Train crew members on proper mowing techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures Safely operate commercial zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, leaf removal equipment, and other tools Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs Communicate with management regarding route progress, customer concerns, equipment issues, and crew performance Complete job site checks before leaving each property Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and organized Assist with landscaping projects as needed based on experience Qualifications Previous professional mowing experience required Ability to confidently lead and manage a mowing crew Experience with leaf removal and seasonal cleanup Experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and related equipment Strong understanding of proper mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing techniques Prior crew leadership or foreman experience preferred Landscape installation experience is a plus , including mulch, planting, shrubs, sod, drainage, or similar work Ability to follow daily routes, work orders, and customer-specific instructions Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred Ability to safely drive a truck and landscape trailer preferred Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement Year-round employment opportunities Supportive team environment Performance-based raises and bonuses Health insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Occasional overtime as needed Pay Starting pay is based on experience and qualifications.
