Landscape & Hardscape Foreman Custom Gardens - Yorktown, VA Custom Gardens is seeking an experienced Landscape Foreman to lead a crew and complete residential and commercial landscape construction projects. This is a hands-on leadership position — you will work alongside your crew while keeping projects organized, efficient, and up to our quality standards. Schedule Monday-Thursday, with some Fridays as needed Typical working hours fall between 7:00 AM-5:00 PM . Hours vary based on job and project needs, so some days may be shorter or longer than others. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside a landscape/hardscape crew Install pavers, retaining walls, drainage work, stone work, planting and other landscape features Read landscape job planners and execute job Understand grades and elevations and apply them in the field Operate skid steers, mini excavators, dump trucks, and truck/trailer combinations Coordinate daily tasks, materials, equipment, and crew needs Keep projects on schedule while maintaining quality standards Ensure work meets project specifications and applicable building codes Communicate job progress, issues, and material needs with management Requirements

Professional landscape/hardscape experience required Hardscape installation experience required Experience operating landscape/construction equipment Ability to read landscape plans and understand elevations Leadership or crew lead experience preferred Reliable transportation to and from work Able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Compensation & Benefits Pay based on experience. PTO, boot reimbursement, and Simple IRA eligibility after one year.
