A Landscaping or Grounds Supervisor supervises the staff that provide landscaping for residences, parks, public gardens, college campuses or building or office park grounds. Supervises work to care for plants and trees, including mowing, trimming and planting, and work to repair driveways, walks, benches or other structures. Oversees equipment maintenance and transportation, and communicates with residential customers.

An experienced Landscape Foreman will become a backbone for one of our Landscape Installation Teams. We are devoted to superior customer satisfaction and technical excellence on any job we do. You will be a critical part of this initiative. A well-qualified applicant will possess the following traits and skills: General landscaping installation and maintenance experience with excellent references. Foreman candidates must have a minimum of 3 years in a lead or supervisory role. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to read, understand, and implement landscape designs, drawings and plans. Capability and talent to lead by example and work together with other team members. Knowledge, hands-on experience and aptitude to properly install retaining walls, freestanding walls, paver patios, natural walls, water features, plantings, etc. General plant knowledge, extensive plant and/or growing knowledge a plus. Operational experience with skid loaders, mini excavators, truck with trailer, laser level, various concrete saws, bed edger, sod kicker, vibrating plate compactor and other landscape-specific tools. Basic or advanced mechanical and small engine aptitude and/or repair experience is an advantage. Ability to conduct onsite training for crew members. Must be able to successfully lead a crew of 2-5 team members, while actively participating in the project/installation. Snow removal familiarity and equipment operation skills. Punctual and reliable with availability to work seasonal hours, which may require long days based on the production schedule and weather variables. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including but not limited to customer interaction, email, change orders, etc. A positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic. Wood landscape structure installation and/or carpentry experience is desirable. Benefits offered to Green Oasis employees: Excellent wage based on experience.
