A lawncare/landscape worker is someone who works in the field of landscaping, typically involved in the design, installation, and maintenance of outdoor spaces. Their duties vary on an as needed basis , but generally, they may include tasks like: Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass. Maintaining lawns by mowing and trimming. Installing hardscaping features like patios, walkways, fences, and retaining walls. Designing landscapes, including arranging plantings and choosing materials that complement the environment. Installing low voltage landscape lighting. Excavation and drainage work. Mulching , weeding, and managing/pruning plants. Snow and Ice management in the winter. Maintenance of tools and equipment we use on a daily basis. Our work is in residential, commercial, and public spaces. Our goal is to enhance the appearance, functionality, and health of outdoor areas. It's a job that requires physical work, knowledge of plants, and knowledge of machinery or construction skills.
