Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate lawn care activities to ensure timely completion of projects with exceptional quality. Manage and mentor crew members, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Must be able to operate walker mower. Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and other landscaping tools safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care; perform pruning as needed. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions; perform adjustments or repairs to optimize water efficiency. Operate company vehicles for transportation to job sites while adhering to safety protocols. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all outdoor work activities. Requirements Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture or groundskeeping with a focus on outdoor work environments. Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance settings. Strong knowledge of plant identification, tree care techniques, hardscape construction, and irrigation management. Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, irrigation tools, and hardscape machinery safely. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage crew members effectively while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience with hardscaping construction projects including patios, walkways, retaining walls or similar structures. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred. Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; attention to detail in grounds maintenance tasks.
