Full Job Description Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cemetery Groundsman/ Maintenance Technician to help maintain the beauty, safety, and dignity of our cemetery grounds. This role is essential in ensuring a peaceful and well-kept environment for families, visitors, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily groundskeeping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and debris removal Assist with grave preparation, burial site setup, and site restoration Maintain walkways, headstones, markers, and memorial areas Operate and maintain landscaping and maintenance equipment Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on cemetery property Ensure all work is completed respectfully, safely, and in accordance with cemetery standards Assist during funeral services as needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance preferred (but not required) Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions Comfortable working in a cemetery environment with professionalism and sensitivity Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
