Premier Property Management is a unique, boutique-styled management company whose goal is to enhance growth, stimulate learning, and empower our team members to push the boundaries of success which continues to make Premier a driving force in the property management industry. We are looking for an experienced Groundskeeper/Porter for our student property in Tuscaloosa, AL. We would like to fill this position as soon as possible. The Groundskeeper/Porter's primary responsibility is to ensure upkeep of the grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family and/or student housing communities. This involves inspecting the entire community, assessing the needs to maintain the highest standards of the community, and conducting business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws i.e. OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc. Additional job duties include the following: (but not limited to) Assists with any make ready repairs, trash removals, and/or services when necessary to ensure that units are ready in a timely manner. Reports any major repairs and requisitions to Lead Technician in a timely manner. Responsible for cleaning work areas, tools, and equipment when necessary. Assists with and maintains adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations when necessary. Performs any additional duties assigned by the Lead Maintenance Technician and/or Property Manager.

Required Education and Experience:

(to include but not limited to) High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 1 year or more experience in property management maintenance or equivalent field.
