Job Description
Industrial Lincoln, AR 1st Shift $15/Hour Job Details Our client is seeking a dependable and hardworking Outside Maintenance/Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of the company's grounds, buildings, and equipment. This hands-on position will perform routine groundskeeping, landscaping, building maintenance, equipment maintenance, and minor repairs while assisting with other facility-related tasks as needed. The ideal Outside Maintenance/Groundskeeper is comfortable working outdoors, has basic mechanical and maintenance skills, and can safely operate equipment and tools. This position requires someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and orderly work areas and can work independently while following company procedures and safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities
Mow, trim, weed-eat, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
Perform general landscaping and groundskeeping duties.
Clear driveways, parking lots, sidewalks, and walkways of leaves, debris, and other materials.
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly outdoor areas.
Complete minor building repairs and general maintenance, including repairing locks, replacing light bulbs, and making basic repairs.
Perform routine maintenance on production equipment as assigned.
Operate and properly maintain heavy equipment, including tractors, dozers, and other applicable machinery.
Assist with general building cleaning and maintenance.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Inspect grounds, buildings, and equipment and identify potential maintenance or safety issues.
Report significant repairs, equipment concerns, and safety hazards to management.
Follow all company safety procedures when operating equipment and performing maintenance.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, building maintenance, equipment maintenance, or a related field preferred.
Ability to safely operate and maintain heavy equipment such as tractors and dozers.
Basic mechanical and repair skills.
Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to follow instructions, company policies, and safety procedures.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach as needed.
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment.
Ability to safely operate machinery and perform physical maintenance tasks.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
Ability to wear required PPE and follow all safety requirements.
