Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscaper/Groundskeeper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas lush and healthy Operate groundskeeping equipment including lawn mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape machinery with precision and safety Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and pest management; apply pesticides or fertilizers as needed following safety protocols Maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly Conduct seasonal snow plowing and snow removal to keep pathways safe during winter months Execute tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote growth and safety Assist with landscape design projects involving hardscape features like walkways, patios, or retaining walls while adhering to safety standards Requirements Proven outdoor work experience in groundskeeping or landscaping roles with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Mechanical knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment and power tools for efficient operation and troubleshooting Ability to identify various plants, pests, and diseases; familiarity with pesticide management practices Knowledge of irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance techniques Strong adherence to safety protocols when operating equipment or working around potentially hazardous materials Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, operating machinery, and performing manual labor in various weather conditions Valid experience with tree care procedures including trimming and pruning; familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus Join our team to help craft beautiful outdoor environments while honing your skills in landscaping and groundskeeping!
