Job Description

Shadow Hills Golf Club , located in Indio, CA , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper ! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees, and other areas Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water Repairs the irrigation system, pipes, and irrigation heads as necessary Grades and prepares soil base; lays sod and seeds greens, tees, and fairways Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented Must possess the ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course Must possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course maintenance Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation Must be dependable Healthcare Benefits
