Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
FLSA Status:

7 days a week, 5AM to 3PM

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE
  • 1 year experience in landscaping maintenance preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be able to work early mornings, days, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs
JOB DUTIES
Rake bunkers. Clean native areas Rake and clean-up leaves Mows greens, tees and approaches May operate smaller equipment as directed by his/her supervisor such as weed eaters and backpack blowers. Trims trees and remove cuttings. Responsible for maintenance of the golf course, hedges, edging and weeding. Clean sprinkler heads. Edge cart paths. Load and unload materials. Assist with special projects. Reports equipment problems or failures to Equipment Manager immediately. Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

Physical Ability:
Tasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and that may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (50 pounds).
Sensory Requirements:
Some tasks require the ability to perceive and discriminate visual cues or signals. Some tasks require the ability to communicate orally.
Environmental Factors:
Performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature extremes, bright/dim light, machinery, electric currents, traffic hazards, toxic agents, violence, disease, or pathogenic substances.
