This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscaping projects, from planting and gardening to hardscape installation and maintenance. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, bringing your enthusiasm and attention to detail to every task. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, tree care, irrigation, and more while contributing to the transformation of outdoor environments. Duties Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways. Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to ensure healthy turf. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, trenching, and installing irrigation systems. Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe. Conduct routine landscape maintenance including watering, mulching, and pest control to promote plant health. Assist with equipment maintenance and basic repairs on tools like excavators or other construction machinery. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot landscaping equipment effectively. Experience with lawn care, gardening, landscape maintenance, and horticulture practices. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators. Familiarity with hardscape construction including patios, retaining walls, or walkways.
