Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as a Gardener Maintenance & Landscape professional; you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces, ensuring healthy plant growth, and creating inviting landscapes.. Your expertise in groundskeeping, plant care, and landscape maintenance is needed and the ability to both tactical, day-to-day maintenance and larger scale projects. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, edging, and mulching to keep outdoor areas pristine and vibrant Operate groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, irrigation systems, and ground maintenance machinery safely and efficiently Identify various plants, native species, pests, and diseases to promote healthy growth and implement effective pest control measures Manage irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for diverse plantings and turf areas Maintain knowledge of best practices, including planting, growing techniques, and soil management Assist with planting new flora, transplanting existing plants, and removing invasive or unhealthy vegetation Communicate effectively with team members regarding landscape plans, plant care instructions, or maintenance schedules Skills Proven experience with maintaining large scale properties and handling both day-to-day and long-term, strategic projects. Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and groundskeeping equipment operation Skilled in using hand tools such as pruners, shovels, rakes, and gardening shears; familiar with power tools for landscaping tasks Ability to identify plants accurately and understand their growing requirements Experience managing pesticide applications responsibly in accordance with safety regulations Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting to ensure efficient water use Familiarity with native plants and sustainable landscaping practices Ability to climb safely on ladders or trees when necessary for pruning or maintenance tasks Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and communication.
