HELISTREAM, INC.

is seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as Helicopter Ground Crew support. The work is exciting, dynamic and includes being part of a crew that accomplishes precision helicopter external load operations in austere environments across Southern California. Full time positions are needed for our San Diego operation.

Duties to include:

Conduct pre-mission preparations including equipment checks and ensuring necessary supplies are available. Facilitate tailboard briefings before helicopter landings and takeoffs, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment. Manage and maintain ground support equipment, including refueling equipment and safety gear. Evaluate potential landing zones for safety and suitability, considering factors such as terrain and obstacles. Safely fuel helicopters, adhering to established procedures and safety protocols. Operate truck to transport equipment and supplies as needed. Work independently to execute helicopter missions, demonstrating sound judgment and problem-solving skills. Communicate effectively with team members and helicopter pilots to ensure coordinated efforts and successful mission outcomes. Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and protocols, prioritizing the well-being of personnel and equipment at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Applicants must:

Be willing to work overtime, weekends and some holidays. Have the ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a dynamic environment. Possess excellent communications and teamwork skills. Be able to lift a minimum 50 lbs. Work in "field conditions" (hot, cold, loud, dusty, dirty environments). Willing and able to drive company vehicle (have a clean driving record). Pass an FAA/DOT Alcohol and drug screen with a negative result. Be currently authorized to work in the USA. Pass a pre-employment background check. Preferred skills (but not necessary): Commercial driver license with HAZMAT rating. Aviation and/or prior military experience.
