Madison Earth Care has served the CT shoreline with quality landscaping for over 50 years. We provide landscape design, install and maintenance services and are well known in the area for our exceptional quality and customer service.
Basic Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Fine Gardener to Lead small teams our growing team. The fast paced position requires being in the field, scheduling the crew of up to 3 people and their equipment, managing client expectations, and teaching the team. Successful candidates will possess extensive knowledge of horticulture/landscaping, especially perennial knowledge and care. Applicants should be able to express themselves in a team environment, and be well organized with an understanding of proactive and responsive customer service. Duties shall include but not be limited to: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Managing a crew of up to 3 people Intelligent design and implementation of customers' needs and requests Clear, clean and concise communication Organizing/caring for equipment and vehicles In the field work in all weather conditions Collaboration with fellow team members and manager to complete projects
Requirements & Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast paced environment Extensive Plant knowledge (including perennials, shrubs and trees) Extensive landscape knowledge and awareness of seasonal care of plants Ability to effectively communicate/ present information both verbal and written Ability to frequently move/lift up to fifty (50) pounds Ability to work independently and in team settings Must be dependable and flexible with a positive attitude Must have a valid drivers license Flexibility to work longer hours and Saturdays as needed •Please include a resume when applying for this job•
