Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of groundskeeping, landscaping, and horticultural tasks to ensure landscapes are healthy, vibrant, and visually appealing. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, utilizing your skills with hand tools, power equipment, and irrigation systems to deliver top-quality grounds maintenance. Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning to keep outdoor areas neat and healthy Operate groundskeeping equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently Support planting, transplanting, and plant identification efforts to promote healthy growth of trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or clogs and making necessary adjustments or repairs Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plants from pests and promote lush growth Perform hardscape tasks such as installing or repairing pathways, patios, retaining walls, or other landscape features Follow safety procedures consistently while handling equipment and working outdoors in varying weather conditions Experience Prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or horticulture is highly preferred Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, pruning, planting, and pest management Familiarity with the operation of groundskeeping machinery and hand tools such as trimmers, shovels, rakes, and power saws Understanding of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques Ability to identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support proper care routines Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence when operating equipment or working with chemicals Experience working outdoors in diverse weather conditions with a focus on grounds maintenance or landscaping projects
