Overview We are seeking an experienced groundsman for our company located in Coventry,CT. The ideal candidate will show up on time, work hard, and take as much pride in their work as we do. Must have a valid CT driver's license. Duties Drive company chip truck and tow equipment to the job sites. Fuel equipment as needed Load/unload tools and equipment to prepare for the job Operate equipment safely for tree care and maintenance tasks at heights. Chip brush and clean up as the job it completed Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Monitor the condition of landscapes and report any issues or necessary repairs to management. Other duties as needed Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and pruning is highly desirable. Familiarity with operating landscaping equipment safely. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all work performed. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
