LINEMAN JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

Core Responsibilities Crew Member Set up traffic control ladders and signs Manage bucket truck, drive vehicle to worksite Climb poles Adhere to pole and line safety standards Reading blue prints, maps, and bill of materials Perform make ready on poles Aerial construction Pull underground cable /fiber Load work vehicles with required materials for day's work Load reel trailers with, strand, fiber, or cable. Emergency Restoration On call for after-hours emergencies

Requirements:

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Consistently make field decisions Interact with customers Utilize Microsoft office/email

CDL LICENSE

not required but is Preferred

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma. Must possess strong problem solving, decision making, analytical skills and organizational skills. Ability to read, write, understand, and follow written procedures. Attend work on time as scheduled. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license. Must have a responsible driving record 2 years experience in Aerial/Underground telecom builds for IT assignments Must be willing to travel

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
