Responsibilities Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently to maintain lawns and landscaped areas Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and installing hardscape features Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Identify various plants, trees, and pests to support healthy landscape growth and pest management strategies Follow safety protocols rigorously during all tasks to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Conduct grounds maintenance activities including snow plowing during winter months and general cleanup of outdoor areas Use hand tools and grounds equipment effectively for landscaping projects, ensuring proper maintenance and storage after use Skills Mechanical knowledge of landscaping machinery, power tools, and irrigation systems Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, tree care, and hardscape installation Strong understanding of horticulture principles including plant identification and pesticide management Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols Outdoor work experience demonstrating stamina, attention to detail, and adaptability in varying weather conditions Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques such as mowing, tree trimming, lawn care, and snow removal Familiarity with landscaping best practices for sustainable environmental management This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor environments who want to build a career in landscape maintenance.
