Job Description
Equipment Operator Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club The Equipment Operator is responsible for the operation of specialized golf course maintenance equipment used in the daily upkeep and presentation of the golf course. This position plays a key role in maintaining excellent playing conditions while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate mowing equipment for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and surrounding areas. Perform daily course maintenance activities, including trimming, edging, and bunker maintenance. Assist with irrigation repairs and course setup. Follow established mowing patterns and maintenance standards. Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections. Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly. Assist with special projects and tournament preparation as needed. Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures. Qualifications Previous golf course, landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience preferred. Ability to safely operate commercial maintenance equipment. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be dependable and able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
