Performs ground maintenance tasks: mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs. Safely operates motorized vehicles with standard transmissions. Operates weed-eaters and blowers. Edge, trims, and rakes bunkers. Has advanced experience setting cups and preparing course for play. Plants trees and shrubs, maintains flower beds, weed control, and leaf removal. Fertilizes, prunes trees and shrubs, cuts, rolls, lays, and waters sod. Installs and maintains sand bunkers. Repairs potholes. Trash/litter removal. Performs light irrigation duties (hand water, clean heads, make repairs, etc.). Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and technical procedures. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Valid Driver's License No specific vision abilities required by this job. The employee is regularly required to walk, stand, reach with hands and arms, and sit. The employee will occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds and regularly be required to lift up to 10 pounds. The work area is a typical golf course setting.
