LANDSCAPE / IRRIGATION LABOR
Location:
Deltona / Sanford area We are looking for a reliable person for a short-term position of approximately 6-8 weeks . There is a possibility this position could lead to full-time employment, but full-time work is not guaranteed . This is outdoor work in the Florida heat, so you must be able to handle hot weather and physical/manual labor . Most larger landscape demolition and removal work is done with equipment, so this is not nonstop heavy grunt work. However, you will still need to be comfortable digging, lifting, carrying materials, using hand tools, and working outdoors throughout the day.
Job duties include:
Landscape installation Demo and removal of existing landscapes Irrigation system installation and repair Drainage installation Sod removal and installation General landscape and job-site work
Requirements:
Reliable transportation to work Dependable and able to show up on time Able to work outdoors in Florida heat Able to perform physical/manual labor as required Able to pass a background check Acceptable driving record Able to follow directions and work as part of a crew Landscape, irrigation, or construction experience is a plus, but reliability, work ethic, and willingness to learn are more important. This is currently a 6-8 week temporary position , with the possibility of becoming full-time for the right person.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
