Responsible to perform maintenance duties which assure the preservation and upkeep of all buildings, fixtures, equipment as determined by the Association in addition to major duties outline below. This job involves various landscaping, grounds and irrigation tasks, requiring the use of tools/equipment. Essential tasks include pulling weeds, mulching, pruning, plant installation, edging, mowing, litter and debris pickup, pesticide/fertilization application in a safe and professional manner and assisting in the maintenance and repair of various irrigation systems. Also involves cleaning and general maintenance of pools, and have knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, etc. Work assignments are generally received daily and work is reviewed during performance or upon completion depending upon the nature of duties being performed. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Crew Foreman.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday (with flexibility for on-call and varied work hours as needed in the event of maintenance emergencies)

Salary:

Hourly/Negotiable Duties include, but are not limited to: Mow, weed, mulch, plant, prune landscaping. Spray herbicides, insecticides, fungicides in landscape areas. Clean and maintain pool and pool areas. Maintain equipment in safe, clean, and proper working condition. Assist in the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems. Assist in the maintenance and repair of buildings and fixtures. Litter and debris pick up. Swimming pool maintenance Check propane grills Lania screening repairs Painting Repair pool furniture Maintain all ground equipment Maintain golf carts Replace light bulbs/sensors as needed Keep irrigation system operational Maintain dumpsters and ready for Waste mgmt. pick up Power washing as needed Assisting with pest control vendor
