Assist with hardscape installations like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed. Identify plants, trees, and pests to support healthy landscape growth; apply pesticides or fertilizers following safety protocols. Conduct seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or clearing debris to keep outdoor spaces safe and accessible year-round. Follow all safety procedures diligently to maintain a secure work environment during outdoor activities. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating landscaping machinery and hand tools. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, and groundskeeping. Ability to identify various plants, trees, pests, and understand basic horticulture principles. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting. Experience with pesticide management and adherence to safety protocols related to chemical use. Skilled in operating power tools safely for landscaping projects. Outdoor work experience with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
