Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Technician and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and snow plows with precision and safety adherence Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient watering of plants and turf Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and pest management practices are followed Conduct tree trimming, hardscape installation, and grounds enhancement projects to improve landscape aesthetics and functionality Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or seasonal planting to support year-round landscape upkeep Requirements Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, irrigation systems, and hand tools Ability to identify plants and understand horticultural principles for effective plant care Knowledge of pesticide management practices for safe application and pest control Familiarity with safety procedures related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation Excellent physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, operating machinery, and working in various weather conditions Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow detailed instructions accurately This role offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor environments!
