Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and possess a variety of skills related to landscaping and maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks to enhance and maintain the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces, ensuring that landscapes are healthy, functional, and visually pleasing. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping projects. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution. Engage in tree care activities such as tree trimming and removal as needed. Support hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Conduct gardening tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper horticultural practices are followed. Operate machinery such as excavators for larger landscaping projects when necessary. Participate in snow plowing during winter months to maintain accessibility in landscaped areas. Maintain cleanliness of job sites by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly. Requirements Mechanical knowledge to operate various landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Experience in lawn care and landscape maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with gardening techniques and horticulture principles is beneficial. Ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently for landscaping tasks. Previous experience in construction or hardscape installation is a plus. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Willingness to learn new skills related to landscaping and maintenance. A valid driver's license may be required depending on job responsibilities.
