Job Summary Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Lawn Care Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for ensuring lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas are healthy, vibrant, and well-manicured. Your expertise in landscape maintenance, use of hand and power tools, and knowledge of horticulture will help transform outdoor environments into inviting, lush landscapes. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment to keep lawns and landscaped areas pristine Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to enhance visual appeal Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health of landscape features Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to protect plant health while minimizing environmental impact Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas for hazards or needed repairs and perform basic tree trimming or hardscape maintenance as required Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to maintain a safe working environment Experience Prior outdoor work experience or background in groundskeeping, landscaping, or horticulture preferred but not required Mechanical knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment and power tools is highly desirable Familiarity with plant identification, irrigation systems, pesticide management, and hardscape features will set you apart Ability to operate grounds maintenance machinery safely and efficiently is essential Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments is necessary Experience with snow plowing or winter landscaping tasks is a plus but not mandatory Passion for gardening, tree care, lawn care, and outdoor beautification is highly valued Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills make a visible difference!
