Job Summary Join Superior Creek Lodge as a Groundskeeper, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of landscape maintenance tasks, operating groundskeeping equipment, and ensuring our property is well-kept. Your proactive approach will help create inviting environments that enhance the experience of our guests. We also provide a free room if you wish to live on property. Duties Maintain lawn and building Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, power washer. Perform manual handling tasks including mulch, Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify issues such as pest infestations or diseased plants; apply pesticides or other treatments following safety protocols. Maintain and repair groundskeeping tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition for daily use. Follow safety procedures related to power tool operation and pesticide management to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Experience Prior experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of power tool safety practices and equipment maintenance is essential for efficient job performance. Ability to perform manual labor including heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions. Job may also include helping in other areas such as maintenance, clearing out room etc. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Pay:
$10.00 - $14.00 per hour
