Job Title:
Landscape Laborer Position Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces by performing a variety of landscaping tasks. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping properties looking neat and well cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
Lay pine straw, mulch, and other ground coverings. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required. Prune, trim, and cut back plants, shrubs, and small trees to maintain healthy growth and appearance. Plant shrubs, flowers, and other greenery in garden beds, pots, and designated areas. Assist with basic property maintenance, including cleanup, debris removal, and upkeep of landscaped areas. Operate hand tools and small power equipment safely and effectively. Follow instructions from supervisors and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Ensure all tasks are completed to quality standards while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience preferred, but not required. Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks in various weather conditions. Knowledge of basic gardening and plant care is a plus. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Work Environment:
This is a hands-on, outdoor position requiring exposure to varying weather conditions. Work may involve bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
