In this role, you will lead a crew responsible for delivering high-quality landscaping, grounds maintenance, and horticultural services across various commercial and residential properties. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of landscapers on daily tasks related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening projects Plan and coordinate construction projects, ensuring timely completion within scope and safety guidelines Operate grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools with precision and safety Identify various plants, trees, and horticultural elements to ensure proper care and maintenance Manage irrigation systems to optimize water use and maintain healthy landscapes Oversee crew management activities such as scheduling, training new team members, and assigning tasks effectively Ensure all outdoor work complies with safety standards and company policies while maintaining high-quality results Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or groundskeeping with a focus on outdoor work environments Supervising or crew management experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is highly preferred Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and landscape design principles Skilled in operating landscaping equipment and grounds maintenance tools safely and efficiently Construction experience related to hardscape installation or outdoor project management is a plus Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation between job sites Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively Knowledge of irrigation management systems and tree care techniques is desirable Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail Join us as we cultivate beautiful landscapes while fostering a collaborative team environment.
