Overview Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Greenskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course. This energetic position involves ensuring the greens, fairways, and surrounding landscapes are beautifully manicured, healthy, and inviting for players of all skill levels. You will be responsible for implementing landscape maintenance practices, operating power tools and irrigation systems, and ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times. Responsibilities Maintain the health and appearance of greens, fairways, tees, and roughs through mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding. Operate and troubleshoot irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and prevent water wastage. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, weed control, and soil management to promote lush growth. Use hand tools and power tools such as chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely and effectively for routine upkeep. Manage pesticide application procedures following safety guidelines to control pests while protecting the environment. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of equipment or materials needed for course maintenance. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools; perform basic maintenance or coordinate repairs as necessary to ensure operational efficiency. Skills Proven experience with irrigation systems installation, repair, or maintenance. Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques specific to golf course environments. Ability to handle manual labor tasks involving heavy lifting with proper technique to prevent injury. Familiarity with pesticide management practices aligned with safety standards. Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely—especially chainsaws and lawn care equipment. Knowledge of horticulture principles related to turfgrass management and landscaping best practices. Excellent understanding of power tool safety protocols and maintenance routines to ensure a safe working environment.
