Job Description

Overview Elk Ridge Tree Care is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Groundsman to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting our tree climbers with tree removal, trimming, and general maintenance, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
Safety First:
Maintain a safe work environment by clearing debris, ensuring proper equipment usage, and following all safety protocols.
Ground Support:
Assist tree climbers with rigging, hauling brush and debris, and providing ground support during tree removal and trimming operations.
Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders, under the guidance of experienced arborists.
Job Site Management:
Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring clear paths and safe access for all crew members.
Brush Management:
Load and transport brush and debris, ensuring efficient removal from the job site.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members, providing clear signals and instructions.
Physical Demands:
Lift and carry heavy objects, work in various weather conditions, and be able to tolerate noise from machinery.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
