Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Landscape & Hardscape Laborer / Equipment Operator to lead crews and perform hands-on work on residential and commercial projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical skill, and the ability to operate heavy equipment while maintaining high-quality workmanship and jobsite efficiency. Responsibilities Lead and supervise landscape/hardscape crews on residential and/or commercial projects Operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators, loaders and etc. safely and efficiently Assist with installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps and other structures Coordinate materials, tools and equipment for each job Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards Enforce safety procedures and maintain clean, organized job sites Maintain project documentation, including schedules, material inventories, and progress reports Communicate with management and clients as needed Qualifications Proven landscape experience required Proven hardscape experience preferred Valid driver's license required (CDL a plus) Prior foreman or crew leadership experience preferred Solid understanding of hardscape installation techniques and site preparation Strong knowledge of equipment operation including loaders, excavators, mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping machinery a plus Leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and ensure safety protocols are followed Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and perform basic maintenance tasks Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions Snow and Ice Removal in the winter months Other Things To Note Our typical workday is from 7am to 5pm Three years experience is required Drug screening is part of the application process Benefits Salary based on experience Paid holidays after 90 days Heath Insurance after 90 days Simple IRA matched up to 3% after 1 Year Weekly Direct Deposit This position is ideal for a dedicated professional passionate about landscaping and hardscape who thrives in a leadership role while maintaining hands-on involvement in project execution.
