Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to provide per diem coverage in Galena, Illinois, with shifts scheduled for August 20-21 and September 1. This role offers the chance to contribute to excellent patient care by ensuring accurate medication dispensing and counseling in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately under direct managerial supervision. Counsel and advise patients on medication regimens to promote safe and effective use. Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following organizational protocols. Maintain stock levels and manage controlled drug records and inventories meticulously. Assist with resolving patient issues and clarifying third-party coverage concerns.

Qualifications and Experience:

A current and clear pharmacist license from the state of Illinois is required. Minimum of one year of experience in retail pharmacy practice. Familiarity with pharmacy software, specifically Pioneer, is preferred.
