Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Landscape/Hardscape Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating closely with clients, suppliers, and project managers. Your expertise will help ensure our landscape and hardscape projects are priced competitively while maintaining quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative outdoor spaces while developing your skills in construction estimating and project management. Duties Review project plans, specifications, site visits and customer requests. Meet with clients & build long lasting partnerships/relationships. Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground information, assess scope, and verify measurements for accurate pricing. Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to negotiate costs and finalize contracts. Prepare bid/quote documents, present project to customers & follow through sales leads. Assist in cost control efforts throughout the project lifecycle by monitoring budgets and identifying potential overruns. Inspect landscape work to ensure that it adheres to original plans. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Qualifications 3 + years proven experience in landscape, hardscape or outdoor construction and estimating. Strong understanding of pavers, retaining walls, drainage, grading and plantings. Familiarity with construction site safety practices and landscape/hardscape management principles. Excellent verbal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and team members. Strong sales, customer service and relationship building abilities. Understanding of cost control strategies, pricing methodologies, and contract administration. Valid driver's license Prior hands-on experience working on construction sites is a plus; a background in hardscape/landscape management or related fields is preferred. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
