ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring Landscape Maintenance lead & Labor team members for our Evanston crew. This is a ground-level field position — you'll be on properties every day doing the hands-on work that keeps our clients' spaces looking sharp. You don't need a long resume, but you do need to be reliable, hardworking, and ready to be outside and active all day. Schedule:

Monday-Friday, early morning start | Some Saturdays during peak season

Location:

Evanston, IL — serving Evanston and surrounding North Shore communities

Employment Type:

Full-Time, Seasonal | Year-round potential for strong performers

• WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Mow, trim, edge, and blow residential and commercial properties on a daily route
• Perform general landscape labor — bed maintenance, mulching, planting, and site cleanups
• Assist with seasonal work including spring cleanups, fall leaf removal, and site prep
• Operate commercial lawn equipment: mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools
• Load and unload equipment and materials safely at the start and end of each shift
• Leave every property clean and looking sharp
• Follow crew lead direction to stay on schedule and keep quality consistent
• Do a quick equipment check at the start of the day and flag anything that needs attention
• Be professional if clients come out to talk
• Follow safety procedures — always

WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

• Ability to do physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Dependable — shows up on time and ready to go every day
• Can lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for the full shift
• Works well with a crew and can take direction
• Can operate or learn to operate commercial lawn equipment

Preferred:

• 1+ year of landscape maintenance, lawn care, or general labor experience
• Familiarity with commercial mowers, trimmers, and blowers
• Valid driver's license
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  This job is physical. You'll be on your feet all day, lifting up to 50 lbs, running equipment, and working outside in Chicago weather — heat in summer, cold in the shoulder months. If that's not a problem for you, great.
