Job Description

Nature's Perspective Landscaping, a locally owned company serving Evanston, Chicago, and the North Shore since 1979, is seeking a dependable Landscape Enhancement Laborer / Crew Member to join our Enhancement division. This hands-on, outdoor role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with plants and contributing to the creation of exceptional landscapes. As part of a dedicated crew, you will help complete plant-focused landscape improvement projects with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and teamwork. This is a seasonal position with work scheduled Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays during peak season. Join a company known for its commitment to people, excellence, integrity, growth, and safety. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with a landscape enhancement crew to complete improvement projects. Assist with plant installations, bed renovations, soil preparation, transplanting, mulching, and related landscape improvements. Load, unload, and organize plants, materials, and tools while maintaining clean and orderly job sites. Safely operate landscape hand tools and equipment as required for project tasks. Follow landscape plans and crew leader instructions to achieve quality, safety, and productivity goals. Qualifications Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or outdoor labor is required. Interest in plants and horticulture; plant knowledge is a plus. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Basic hardscape installation or repair experience is helpful but not required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, perform physical labor, and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation required; a valid driver's license is preferred but not required. Strong English communication skills; Spanish language skills are a plus. Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States. Compensation $20$24 per hour , based on experience. Overtime pay is available.
