Job Summary Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Lawn Care Crew Leader and take charge of delivering exceptional outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you will lead a crew dedicated to maintaining beautiful lawns, landscapes, and hardscape features across various construction projects. Your leadership will ensure that each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Lead and supervise a team of lawn care technicians, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule Oversee lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aeration, and plant identification to promote healthy growth Manage landscape maintenance projects such as planting, pruning, shrubbery care, and hardscape installation Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems Coordinate irrigation management to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot irrigation issues Supervise crew operations on construction projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and project progress for accountability and quality assurance Skills Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening with strong knowledge of horticulture practices Demonstrated supervising experience with team management skills to motivate and guide crew members effectively Expertise in plant identification, tree care, grounds maintenance equipment operation, and irrigation systems management Ability to lead outdoor work projects confidently while adhering to safety standards and company policies Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks and resolve issues promptly Experience operating company vehicles safely within the scope of outdoor landscaping projects Knowledge of hardscape features such as patios or walkways is a plus for comprehensive project oversight This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful outdoor projects while honing your skills in landscaping and team management.
