Responsibilities Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment including mowers, power tools, chainsaws, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and gardening to uphold aesthetic standards. Manage irrigation systems by installing, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing to ensure efficient water use across various outdoor areas. Conduct pesticide management activities following safety protocols to control pests and protect plant health. Engage in heavy lifting and manual handling of materials such as soil, mulch, plants, and equipment to support landscaping projects. Use hand tools safely and effectively for detailed gardening and groundskeeping tasks. Maintain equipment through routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure longevity and safety. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation of tools, materials, or personnel as needed. Follow power tool safety procedures diligently during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents. Assist with athletic field groundskeeping by preparing surfaces for sports events and ensuring safe playing conditions. Support overall lawn care, gardening, horticulture practices, and landscape beautification projects to create appealing outdoor environments. Experience Prior experience in irrigation systems installation or maintenance is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of golf course groundskeeping or athletic field maintenance is a plus. Hands-on experience with landscape maintenance techniques including pruning, planting, and turf management. Proficiency in operating grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and power tools. Familiarity with pesticide management practices following safety regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods during landscaping projects. Strong understanding of power tool safety protocols and equipment maintenance procedures.
