Job Description
Job Overview Boonville Country Club is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our golf course maintenance team as a full-time Golf Course Maintenance Technician. This position will work directly with Golf Course Superintendent Nick Sitzman to help maintain and improve the golf course, grounds, landscaping, and irrigation system. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn all aspects of golf course maintenance. Responsibilities Mow greens, tees, fairways, approaches, and rough Operate golf course maintenance equipment safely and properly Assist with daily course setup, including changing cups and moving tee markers Maintain bunkers by raking, edging, adding sand, and repairing washouts Assist with irrigation-system operation, troubleshooting, and repairs Help apply fertilizer, seed, sod, and other turf-care products as directed Assist with landscaping, trimming, tree work, drainage, and course-improvement projects Perform basic cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment Help prepare the course for tournaments, outings, leagues, and special events Remove debris and maintain clean, attractive course and facility grounds Follow all safety procedures and instructions from the Golf Course Superintendent Complete other golf course maintenance duties as assigned This is a full-time position. Golf course maintenance begins early in the morning, and the schedule may include weekends and holidays, especially during the golf season. Some flexibility may be required for tournaments, outings, weather-related work, irrigation issues, and other course needs.
