This position focuses on operating a large pickup truck equipped with a water tank and traveling to different commercial properties throughout the city to water flowers, plants, trees, and landscaped areas. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of plants and landscaping and be comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions. This position may also includesnow removal work during the winter season, so candidates must be willing and available to perform snow removal duties when needed.

Responsibilities:

Operate a large pickup truck equipped with a water tank. Travel to multiple commercial properties according to the daily schedule. Water flowers, plants, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas as needed. Perform routine flower bed maintenance, including removing weeds, keeping flower beds clean and free of unwanted vegetation, and maintaining the overall appearance of landscaped areas. Assist with basic plant and landscape maintenance as needed. Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping materials. Have knowledge of mulch installation. Operate basic landscaping equipment, including trimmers, blowers, and other hand tools. Keep the work truck and equipment clean and organized. Complete daily tasks accurately and efficiently. Assist with snow removal during the winter season, including operating snow removal equipment and performing other winter maintenance duties as needed. Be available to work during snow events. Qualifications Previous landscaping or plant-care experience preferred. Basic knowledge of plants, flowers, and proper watering techniques. Previous experience planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other landscaping materials preferred. Previous experience installing mulch preferred. Ability to safely operate a trimmer, blower, and basic landscaping equipment. Previous snow removal experience is a plus, but not required. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Comfortable driving a large pickup truck. Ability to work independently and follow a daily route or schedule. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and walking. Willingness and availability to perform snow removal and winter maintenance duties during the winter season. Reliable, punctual, responsible, and willing to work as part of a team. Must successfully pass a pre-employment toxicology screening. Pay Pay based on experience.
