Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaper/Groundskeeper to join our dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for creating beautiful, healthy landscapes by performing a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping tasks. Duties Maintain and improve landscape areas through planting, pruning, mowing, edging, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth and visual appeal Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for various landscaping tasks with precision and safety Use power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws to perform routine maintenance efficiently Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as they arise Perform regular landscape maintenance activities such as weed control, mulching, aeration, and soil conditioning Assist with gardening tasks like planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and maintaining vegetable or herb gardens Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair and execute necessary maintenance promptly Year round work available! Requirements Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Familiarity with irrigation systems and basic troubleshooting skills Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; able to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor for extended periods Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to landscape care Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration and learning Ability to communicate with Spanish speaking team members is helpful Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant environments that inspire! $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
