Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Grounds Crew team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a commitment to excellence and a passion for working outdoors, ensuring that our grounds are well-kept and inviting for all visitors. Responsibilities Perform routine landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, edging, and planting. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, and other plant life by watering, fertilizing, and pruning as necessary. Clear debris, litter, and leaves from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas. Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools, including lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools. Monitor the health of plants and report any issues, such as pest infestations or diseases, to the supervisor. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects and tasks efficiently. Participate in seasonal projects, including snow removal, leaf collection, and other weather-related maintenance. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with visitors and addressing any concerns regarding the grounds. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is a plus. Knowledge of plant species, horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance techniques. Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
