Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic grounds maintenance team as a Mowing Crew Member and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful, well-manicured outdoor spaces. In this energetic position, you will operate landscaping equipment, perform lawn care tasks, and support landscape and grounds upkeep to ensure pristine environments. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, combined with your technical skills and attention to safety, will help us deliver outstanding results for our clients and community. Duties Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other ground maintenance equipment to achieve a clean, professional appearance of lawns and landscapes Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects Identify plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health management Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to promote healthy growth Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries Perform snow plowing or hardscape cleanup during seasonal weather changes as needed Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or related fields is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor physical activity is essential Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, and irrigation systems is highly desirable Ability to identify various plants, trees, and shrubs accurately Familiarity with pesticide management and horticulture practices is a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures related to grounds maintenance equipment operation Experience with excavation or construction projects can be beneficial but is not mandatory Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, or hardscape installation Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant landscapes!
