Job Description
50 Landscape Laborers with Hermes Company, Inc. at 20000 West 47th Street Shawnee, KS 66218 and multiple worksites within Douglas(KS), Johnson(KS), Leavenworth(KS), Miami(KS), Wyandotte(KS), Cass(MO), Clay(MO), Jackson(MO) and Platte(MO) counties. Provide labor for landscape services which may include any combination of the following: cultivating lawns or gardens, planting, digging, irrigating, mowing, trimming, pruning and fertilizing of growing plants and grasses, mulching, raking, seeding, sod laying, spraying, weeding and opening/filling shallow trenches for irrigation/watering systems. Use hand/power tools and equipment such as edgers, blowers and mowers to landscape and maintain grounds of property. Assist with sprinkler installation and maintenance (use hand shovel to dig trench approximately 6 inches wide and 12 inches deep, after lines are laid). Load/unload/move trees, shrubs and landscape materials; remove debris; maintain, clean and repair equipment/tools when not in use. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary.
