SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs all phases of general grounds labor including assisting in the maintenance of pavement, ornamental plantings, grass, and fencing; assists in the moving of heavy equipment; assists in the removal of snow; and other labor as directed by the designated supervisor As per Board-approved 2025-2026 salary placement rules/schedules. $1,800 quarterly stipend for employees that hold, maintain and utilize
CDL Class A Groundsworker III Salary Schedule:
1B, Grade 7 Estimated starting hourly range : $20.12

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Valid driver's license Five (5) years of experience in grounds or related field Experience moving and operating heavy equipment Effective communication skills
  • Groundsworker II Salary Schedule 1B, Grade 6 Estimated starting hourly range : $19.39
  • $30.62
  • Subject to experience verification
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Valid driver's license Three (3) years of experience in grounds or related field Effective communication skills
  • Groundsworker I Salary Schedule:
    1B, Grade 5 Estimated starting hourly range : $18.64
  • $29.42
  • Subject to experience verification
