Job Summary Join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team as a Lawn Care Crew Member and play a vital role in creating beautiful, healthy landscapes! In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for maintaining lawns, gardens, and grounds using a variety of tools and techniques. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work and attention to detail will help ensure our clients' properties look their best year-round. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscape maintenance, horticulture, and groundskeeping while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools safely and efficiently to maintain turf areas. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal. Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and hardscape installation to improve safety and landscape design. Follow safety protocols diligently during all groundskeeping activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Support seasonal tasks including aeration, fertilization, and seasonal clean-up to keep landscapes vibrant throughout the year. Experience Prior outdoor work experience or involvement in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor environments is essential. Basic mechanical knowledge of landscape maintenance equipment operation is advantageous. Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like hedge trimmers or chainsaws is beneficial. Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, pest control, and soil management is a plus. Ability to identify different plants and trees accurately will support effective landscape care. Commitment to safety protocol adherence during all tasks is required to maintain a secure work environment. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of grounds maintenance.
