We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Landscaped Gardener/Container Specialist. To provide niche gardening to a premium class of customers in the Cohasset/Hingham/Norwell area. This full-time, seasonal position creating beautiful containers and seasonal annual displays as well as maintaining plant beds for our properties using ecologically healthy techniques. The job focuses on caring for existing properties as well as making enhancements with perennials, seasonal color, container gardens and additional garden enhancements. An ideal candidate would share our passion for landscape and have a solid knowledge of plants and proper horticultural practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive care for landscapes including fine gardening, weeding, pruning, plant bed amendments and monitoring of plant health Design and install seasonal containers, annuals displays and holiday decor Spring and fall clean-ups of plant beds Communicating with clients while offering exceptional customer service Time tracking with mobile apps in the field (LMN/Aspire)
Qualifications:
Considerable horticultural knowledge of plants, plant care, seasonal annuals and container gardening 2 plus years working with a landscape company doing similar highly professional work Excellent communication skills with team members and clients, ability to follow through and follow up Highly organized and ability to coordinate multiple projects A hard worker, ethical, efficient, self-motivated, detail-oriented, friendly and professional, a positive team member Ability to lift 30 pounds A valid driver's license DOT Medical Card (Needs to obtain within 30 days if does not have one) Ability to drive a small dump truck Authorized to work in the
